Sarah Parker is a multidisciplinary artist based in Sydney on Gadigal Country, working across sculpture, installation, photography and performance. Drawing on her background in classical ballet, her practice explores the relationship between the body, discipline and materiality. Through processes of casting, construction and textile work, Parker examines the physical experiences of the body and its relationship to the objects and spaces it inhabits.

Parker completed a Bachelor of Fine Art in Sculpture at the National Art School in 2025 and is undertaking Honours in 2026. She was awarded the Dr John Vallance Prize for Sculpture in 2024.

I acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I live, work and make.
I pay my respects to Elders past and present, and recognise the continuing histories of art, culture and storytelling on this Country. Sovereignty was never ceded.
